Cruises on the Waterways of Holland during Tulip Time

Between late March and mid May, the countryside of Holland are covered with blooms in every color of the rainbow. The flowers streach on for as far as the eye can see - tulips, daffodils, iris, crocus and hyacinth.

Cruising on a barge through the waterways of Holland, you are able to see how vasts these bulb fields are. Take one of the provided bicycles on the barge and cycle amoung the glorious fields of color.

We offer four barge vessels cruising in Holland during the tulip season - Absoluut II, Panache, La Nouvelle Etoile and Savoir Faire. They each offer a slightly different itinerary from the others. Each barge will feature a visit to the famous Kukenhof Gardens during Spring time.

River cruises are another way to see the countryside of Holland and Belgium. These bigger vessels cover more the contryside and usually include Belgium.

In addition to the famous Kukenhof Gardens, Holland and Belgium have some marvalous public and private stately homes with gardens. Check out our page on other gardens worth visiting in Holland.
